For all of my American blog followers that don’t know what I’m talking about – today is Family Day, a statuary holiday here!

This little one has beautiful blue eyes….very curious awake eyes that didn’t want to close today!   Little “A” is about 3 weeks old and has just passed the very sleepy stage which allows me to pose babies in unique ways and on different props without too much fuss-so unfortunately we weren’t able to capture those images today.  However – we did get some very nice photos with mom & dad and as a family!  Quite fitting to capture these on Family Day I think!    Here are a few images from the session, the first I title “Peace!” 

See this tiny little girl?  I think she has daddy wrapped around her little finger already!    Such a sweet little thing – she set the new record for fastest photoshoot today!

Canada is such a multicultural country, and it seemed a little odd to me as a photographer working in Canada I only have caucasian babies featured in my portfolio.  I wanted a little more diversity, so I put a model call out for little asian or african american babies!  Meet little “B”….the first of my models!

Meet little 6lb baby girl “A”…..she broke the record for my fastest newborn photoshoot!  She was completely content to let me move her all around while she continued to snuggle and doze away…making for a fast and fantastic session! 

Nowadays it seems like everyone is finding out if their growing belly holds either a boy or a girl….this couple however, is not!  Life’s biggest surprise is waiting for this fun couple in just a few more weeks!  I had a blast during this maternity photoshoot, they had me laughing the whole time – looking forward to meeting you little one guys!  Enjoy…

I had to post this one because every time I look at it I laugh!  You could just hear her saying  “Awww Dad! No more kisses!” 

Earlier this week there was a contest on my Facebook page when there 200 fans – this lucky lady was the winner!  This beautiful mama-to-be will be be bringing a baby girl to my studio in just a few weeks!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Last week I put out a casting call on my blog for newborn twins….less than 48 hours later I got an email asking if I would like to photograph these little cuties. Umm..let me think – yes please!    A boy and a girl,  you can tell that they already have different little personalities!  I had a great time this morning, and I think they did too!

This little girl is one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen, besides my own of course! Perfectly tiny, with the prettiest little features-right down to the tip of her nose. Welcome to the world little one – you are very loved.
